The 14th ACI Europe (Airports International Council) Annual Awards ceremony held in Brussels has named Paphos Airport "Europe's Most Accessible Airport" for people with disabilities and reduced mobility.

The annual general assembly of ACI Europe brings together representatives from all European airports as well as leading executives of the aviation industry.

With regards to the “Europe’s Most Accessible Airport” award, the ACI jury acknowledged Hermes’ holistic approach to its services offered for people with disabilities and reduced mobility, such as the lower height machines “BorderXpress” for the automatic border control, the installation of lower height pay machines for the parking areas, the possibility of using automatic electronic gates (E-gates) and the establishment of a management and monitoring system with the participation of people with disabilities and reduced mobility which assesses the offered services to PRM passengers.
