This impressive villa enjoys a private and secluded location as the last property before the unique and fragile wilderness of the Akamas peninsula. The villa enjoys a privileged spot nestled in amongst pine and olive trees in a slightly elevated position with magnificent views over the clear blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

This spacious three-bedroom bungalow with pale walls and terracotta roof conceals an interior of contemporary design with furnishings carefully selected to complement the high timber ceilings and large windows giving a feeling of space and light. The open-plan living area which features a working fireplace is furnished with comfortable sofas and a coffee table.

Entertainment is provided by a smart TV, wireless internet connection and a pool table.

The modern kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The washing machine is housed in the adjacent utility room. The dining table comfortably seats 8.

A long corridor leading from the living area connects the three bedrooms, two twin bedrooms and the master double bedroom with king size bed. Each bedroom has an en suite shower room.

Each of the bedrooms and the living area are equipped with air conditioning units (for both cooling and heating). With the added benefit of under-floor heating, the property can be enjoyed in comfort all year round.

A safety deposit box is provided and a hairdryer is available. Pool towels are also supplied. A baby cot and highchair can be provided on request.

The 5m x 9m swimming pool (overall depth of 1.4m) with walk-in steps is surrounded by a paved terraced furnished with sunbeds and umbrellas. The swimming pool can also be heated (see rental rates) during the cooler months (October - April). A table and chairs are available for outdoor dining so you can make full use of the BBQ facilities provided to enjoy long lazy lunches or dine under the stars on clear summer nights.

We have just returned from a week at this wonderful villa near Latchi. The villa is spacious, luxurious and has a large pool and terrace with views towards the sea at Takkas Beach. The beach itself is only a 5 minute walk away ( 4 minutes down and 6 minutes up as it is a fairly steep driveway up to the villa) and Takkas beach itself is one of the nicest beaches we saw in that area. The beach is very clean, with very fine shingle and has loungers available ( rented for 2.5 euros per day ). The seawater is crystal clear and sheltered for safe swimming. You can snorkel around the nearby rocks although there is not an awful lot to see. No boats are allowed within 200m of the shore, and there is a restaurant and bar open during the daytime only. During our dawn swims, we saw a turtle swimming on 2 separate occasions. During the day we spent much of our time at the villa itself, as it is so peaceful and private there, with the sound of birds singing in the maritime pine trees within the large garden, and at night you hear the sound of crickets and an occasional goat ! The sunbathing area complete with loungers is very secluded and the pool well maintained. The villa was very well equipped including an excellent sound system in the open-plan living room/kitchen area. We did not need to use the woodburner located in the main room as it was so warm, but would imagine it would be lovely on colder nights. As my husband is a keen cyclist, he hired a mountain bike from a local British owned company recommended by The Villa Group ( Wheelie Cyprus). Every day he explored different parts of the Akamas peninsula which is literally on the doorstep of the villa . We also hiked some of the trails on the peninsula, which affords spectacular views of the area . What I think sets this villa apart from others in the Latchi/Polis area is its location and remoteness, being almost the last property before the road that leads to the Baths of Aphrodite. This means that at night there is literally no passing traffic and all you hear are the night sounds and see the beautiful starry skies as you sit out on the terrace. Most other villas for rent in the area are located within developments with other villas around them. If you are looking for a peaceful, beautiful and luxurious villa this is it! And yet you are only a few minutes drive to local amenities such as the watersports from Latchi ( we used Latchi Watersports for Boat hire and waterskiing , and could drive to the little supermarket at Latchi or the larger one at Polis, just a few km away. We enjoyed ourselves so much at the local beaches and at the villa itself , that we had no desire to go much further afield. We did not use the snooker table or the table tennis table provided, but could see that some guests would enjoy those amenities too. The owner's father called in on 2 occasions to check that we were happy with everything and I was able to text the owners if I had any queries. Overall, we had a marvellous time at the villa and would thoroughly recommend this villa. I would also like to add that the staff at the Villa Group were extremely efficient and helpful, and always communicated well with us throughout the process of booking the villa .

I found using the website very clear and easy to use. The staff on the few times I had to speak to someone were very helpful and friendly and dealt with all my questions in an excellent manner. I found the driving instruction easy to use, as the villa was relativley close to a popular tourist location. The size, location and facilities all made for a great break. The villa is situated in a perfect location to benefit from the sea with the added benefit of not being over looked by any other property. It is still within a few minutes drive from the local shops and restaurants. The finish and details of the villa are superb. The kitchen is large and well equipped, the welcome pack made arriving much easier and enough wine to keep people very happy. It appears no corner has been cut, and the feel of everything is one of quality. The bedrooms are fitted out to a top hotel standard. There are a vast amount of towels, and everything else you expect to have. The master ensuite also has a Jacuzzi bath. The pool is pretty big and would be great in high summer as it has some degree of cover from the villa. The pool table and PS3 was a great addition, and the CD/DVD collection has something for everyone. The satellite TV whilst not having a huge selection of channels, still has enough to fill the quieter moments. The owner is very friendly and speaks almost perfect English. He could not of done more for us, and was at the end of a phone should anything have been needed. I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. I would and probably will go back again. This villa and the overall experience will not let anyone down.
