Built in 1915 and renovated in 2004 this 2 bedroom traditionally furnished Cypriot house is located in Kato Drys, just a few minutes’ drive of the famous hilltop village Lefkara, within the District of Larnaca. Adjacent to the property’s gardens are a number of museums featuring the Bee and Embroidery Museum where you can learn the region’s rich history and relive the past.

As you enter the house via the original wooden front door into the living area you will immediately notice the beautiful courtyard and the abundance of fruit trees seen through the double glass doors. The living area has comfortable seating, a TV with local channels, a wireless internet connection, and a stone-built fireplace.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge freezer, washing machine, and dining table with 4 chairs.

The first bedroom of the house is located on this floor with a beautiful four-poster double bed and en-suite shower room. French doors from the bedroom lead out to the courtyard.

Moving to the first floor from the living area you will find the second bedroom of the house; a beautiful four-poster double bed and adjacent bathroom. This bedroom offers 2 small balconies with views over the courtyard and the surrounding area.

Central heating is available throughout the house and air conditioning is available in both bedrooms and is included in the rental rates.

The beautiful courtyard with plenty of seating areas is surrounded by the orchard where a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables are grown. The outdoor dining table together with the traditional wood-fired oven and barbecue make this area ideal for you to truly enjoy al fresco dining.

A tour of the Bee and Embroidery Museum is included in the cost of the booking and is highly recommended. Guests can also observe seasonal agricultural and apicultural activities such as fruit and nut picking, honey making, winemaking, or the preparation of local treats.

Please note: A wedding ceremony and reception for up to 30 people can be held in the courtyard of the house and the owner can assist with the wedding arrangements, please contact us for further details. There is a minimum stay is 2 nights, please contact us for a price for less than 7 nights.

Pricing Notes

Rates include: Weekly cleaning service (for stays exceeding 9 nights), welcome grocery pack, bed linen, bathroom towels, central heating (winter months November to March), air conditioning in the summer months, and a tour of the Bee and Embroidery museums.

Rates do not include: A refundable security deposit of €200 is required to be paid locally upon arrival to cover any breakages/damages.
