A new art exhibition opened at Paphos Airport yesterday, featuring an eclectic mix of modernist works by a new generation of local artists.

The initiative, which began in the fall of last year aims to project Cypriot art and culture, is expected to be viewed by several thousand visitors as they pass through the airport.

In June the works by Stefanos Nearchou, Giorgos Georgiou, Froso Antreou, Costas Charalampous, Eleana Chrysanthou and Anna Alexandrou will be move to Larnaca airport and be replaced with works by older generation artists.
