British Airways (BA) has announced the resumption of its flights between Paphos and London Gatwick, as of last Saturday.

The direct BA flights to and from Paphos will take place every Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday – one leaving Paphos at 4pm and arriving in London at 6.35 pm (local time) and the other departing Gatwick at 8.35 am and arriving in Cyprus at 3.15 pm.

“The inclusion of Paphos in our summer flight schedule is part of our commitment to Paphos and its tourists to once again connect these two airports,” said Freddie Stier, Commercial Manager for Greece and Cyprus at BA. “It is our tremendous pleasure to once again establish our presence at both of Cyprus’ airports”.

The airline announced at the start of 2010 that it would be suspending its flights to Paphos Airport until March 2011.
