The tiny village of Prodromi is surrounded by vineyards, pecan and citrus trees and is situated amidst mature gardens, lawns and orchards in one of the greenest valleys in Cyprus. The village of Prodromi is less than 1km from Polis (almost merged into the town.)
Polis the principal town for the northwest region is a traditional town huddled around a pedestrianised square and is a great place to browse the many shops, enjoy a coffee watching the world pass by or dine at any of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre. The town has an archaeological museum and cultural centre. Polis also has an unorganised sand and shingle beach backed by tall Eucalyptus trees.
