A lovely three bedroom bungalow style villa, located in the unspoilt tranquillity of Argaka Village enjoys dramatic and breathtaking views of the deep blue Mediterranean Sea and the Akamas National Park.

On entering the villa, you will find a small hallway/lobby with a coffee table and two armchairs being not only a welcoming area but also a space to sit quietly and read a book. Off this hallway, there are three bedrooms, three bathrooms, living room and kitchen. The bedrooms are arranged as follows:

A bright dual aspect double bedroom with built in wardrobes, dressing table and bedside cabinets. There is an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub with shower over and side shower screen, WC and wash hand basin.

The second bedroom is also a bright dual aspect room and has twin beds, wardrobes, console table and bedside cabinets.

The third bedroom has built in wardrobes, bedside cabinets and an ensuite shower room. The shower is generously sized, and there is a WC and wash hand basin.

In addition, there is a separate family shower room. This shower room has a generously sized shower cubicle, a WC and a hand wash basin.

The living room has a comfortable l-shaped sofa, coffee table and a flat screen tv with ‘Android’ Box with dozens of UK TV channels including sports and movies. The living room has a large real log burning fireplace which comfortably keeps the whole of the villa warm in the winter.

The open plan kitchen is modern and has a dining table with six chairs. It has a dishwasher, a four ring gas hob, extractor hood, microwave, Bosch electric oven and a large American style double-door fridge freezer. There is complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property and each room has its own air-conditioning unit, for both cooling and heating (5 units in total).

Outside, there is a stone staircase that takes you up to a large roof garden being ideal for soaking up the sun. The roof garden has a large gazebo with a pool table and a table with six chairs. From this terrace, you have superb views over the village of Argaka an in the distance of the Mediterranean Sea and the Akamas National Park. The villa enjoys spectacular sunsets.

The villa is surrounded by pretty gardens, and its central feature is a huge 12m x 4m private heated overflow swimming pool (1.5m maximum depth). The pool is surrounded by sun loungers. There is a further gazebo with seating beneath for 6. Adjacent there is a brick built barbecue area with views of the sea. The villa also has a second outdoor covered seating area to the rear of the villa, overlooking the pool. There is a small sofa with two armchairs and a coffee table. There is private parking for two cars and a separate cloakroom and utility room with washing machine and clothes drying area.

This villa is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, on the outskirts of a traditional Cypriot villa, whilst being among nature and close to both the mountains and the beach.

Pricing Notes

Rates include: Weekly cleaning service (for stays exceeding 9 nights), welcome grocery pack, bed linen, bathroom and pool towels.

Rates do not include: A refundable security deposit of €300 is payable in advance with the balance payment to cover any damages or breakages at the property. Air conditioning if required is paid locally at €8 per unit per night for the bedroom units (3 units available). Living room air conditioning units (2 units available) if required are €12 per unit per night. Pool heating must be requested in advance and is paid locally upon arrival at €55 per day. All optional extras must be paid locally upon arrival in cash.

We planned this trip for very long as we travelled with our elderly mothers and the house turned out to be perfect for such trip. We had everything needed and even more. When we arrived we found coffee, milk, eggs (from host's own hens) and almost everything we needed. Place is just as described. You just need to know that you need a car to go anywhere, it's about 2km to the beach. But for us that wasn't a problem as this place was so peaceful and just ideal for rest we needed. So If you looking for such holiday, this is the best you can get.

We stayed here for a week at the end of September, the weather was still beautiful and warm. The view from the villa is amazing, especially the sunset that drops behind the hills. You definitely need a car to stay here as there is nothing within walking distance but that is the beauty of the place, totally peaceful and tranquil. The drive to Latchi is around 20 minutes where you will find the harbour with plenty of restaurants and bars, we didn't have a bad meal the during the week we were there. If you want somewhere a little closer, there are a few restaurants along the coast road which take 5 to 10 minutes in the car, we especially liked "Santa Barbara" where we went a few times for lunch and dinner, the food and service was great. The villa itself is exactly as you would expect from the photo's, lovely and clean. The pool and outdoor area is perfect, we loved the pool table on the roof terrace. We had fresh eggs bought to us and a beautiful cake which was a really nice touch. The garden is full of fruit trees, including dragon fruit, figs, dates and passion fruit plus much more. I would recommend this villa if you want an peaceful getaway which is what we had and I would definitely return.

The villa far exceeded our expectations. The sea view was amazing. Andreas and his wife added extra touches: free range eggs, passion fruit, figs and a beautifully baked cake, plus presents for my youngest daughter. The villa had a superb swimming pool, the kitchen equipped with everything you need and a huge terrace on the first floor. The villa was tucked away in a quiet secluded spot which meant tranquillity and a blissful holiday for us.

The view during the day and the fantastic sunsets are absolutely phenomenal. The outside dining areas are both positioned to watch the sunset whilst enjoying your meal. Infinity pool - absolutely spotlessly clean and seemed brand new. Facilities inside the villa - fabulous. Coldwater and ice machine (crushed or cubed) built into the fridge. Could not recommend enough. Value for money - absolutely 10/10.
