Photoshoot of Simon & Laura's Wedding at the Thalassa Hotel in Coral Bay, Paphos.

Simon & Laura’s wedding started at a villa where Laura was staying between Coral Bay and St George. Laura was photographed getting ready together with her bridesmaid and also all of the smaller details were photograph including her bouquet, shoes and jewellery. A shining white Mercedes came to collect Laura and take her to the Thalassa Hotel where the marriage ceremony was to take place. The marriage ceremony was held in the hotel's presidential suite which is located on the top floor of the hotel and from its dual aspect balconies it has an amazing view of the Paphos coastline and Mediterranean sea. A superb backdrop for a wedding! When Laura arrived to the presidential suite all of her family and guest were waiting and then the ceremony commenced. After the ceremony family and guest congratulated the happy couple while the waiters were serving champagne and canapés. Whilst at the presidential suite, photos were taken on the balcony which has superb views of the sea, followed by photos of the cake cutting.

After a couple of hours, the celebrations came to a pause and everyone went downstairs for group photos and then the guest left and headed of to a private villa where the reception would take place. Simon and Laura stayed at the hotel with me for half an hour or so and we went around the hotel grounds taking some romantic photos which no doubt later will go in their wedding album.

Once we finished the couple’s photos, we also moved on to their villa for the reception.

At the villa, the celebrations continued with speeches followed by a traditional Cypriot barbecue meal. After the meal, Simon and Laura started off the dancing to excellent music played by the DJ. Just before sunset, the happy couple came with me for a short drive to the Sea Caves and we took some sunset photos by the sea. Afterwards back at the villa, the celebrations went on to the early hours of the morning.

It was a beautiful wedding thoroughly enjoyed by all.

I thank Simon and Laura for letting me photograph their special day and wish them all the very best for the future.
