Polemi Village holds its annual tulip festival on 31st March. The festival has been held every year since 2002 and is now growing in popularity with visitors from all over the Island, as well as tourists. Visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy the tulip exhibition, local stalls, dancing and music.

The group Friends of the Tulip together with Polemi Town Council organise the festival. The festival starts at 11.30am in the main village square.

The plateau between the villages of Stroumbi and Polemi is the only area on the Island where tulips grow.
