Delhi - Cyprus have secured their second gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi following a blistering display in the men's skeet pair event.

Shooters George Achilleos and Andreas Chasikos took the gold medal for Cyprus following the previous gold medal won by Demetris Krassias in the Artistic Gymnastics Horizontal Bar competition.

The Cyprus team won with a scorer of 194/200 which also included a remarkable score of 100/100 by world number three Achilleos.
Canada's Jason Hughes Caswell (97) and Richard McBride (94) won the silver with a total score of 191 and England's Richard Brikwell (96) and Clive Bramley (95) got the bronze also with a score of 191. Canada won the silver on the basis of two perfect rounds of 25 shot by Caswell while England had none.

The 194/200 score is also a games record previously set in the Manchester Commonwealth Games back in 2002 by Achilleos and Antonis Nicolaides.

Both Achilleos and Chasikos will go head to head in the individual shooting event on Tuesday as Cyprus aims to secure another gold medal.
