Members of the public were amazed to see two black swans in the sea off Limassol on Monday.  People were drawn to the beach to watch with interest and joy the unusual sight.

Limassol lifeguards alerted the relevant authorities as to the two black swans appearance in the sea opposite the Limassol Municipal Gardens.

It is thought that possibly the swans said to be an Australian breed, may have escaped from the nearby Limassol Zoo.
