Last week Pafos Zoo announced the birth of a male white lion. The lion named Simba is the first of its kind born in Cyprus. 

Simba's parents Zeus and Hera have been at the Zoo for 8 years. 

Simba is in good health and is being fed eight times a day with special milk which is brought from abroad.  The Zoo's staff will care for Simba until he turns 8 months, after that he will be introduced to the other lions at the Zoo.
