Located in the heart of the national park on the road network that leads from Ayia Napa and Protaras to Cape Greco, is the Kavo Gkreko Visitor Centre.  The Centre was created by the Department of Forests and is an impressive and innovative structure.  In 2016 the centre won the 2016 State Architecture Prize.

Providing visitors with the opportunity to experience the natural heritage of both the marine and terrestrial environments of the National Park and the Natura 2000 homonymous area through exhibits and audiovisual material.

The exhibitions at the Centre include collections of shells, butterflies, wild birds, mammals, reptiles, fossils and a dwarf hippopotamus skeleton which were extinct from Cyprus about 13,000 years ago.

May - September: 10:00 - 18:00 (Open During Weekend)

Over 12 years old and adults - 2 Euros
Children 6-12 years old - 1 Euro
